Survivor 45 Scoop – Week 2 Recap: Winners, Losers, Top Moments
John Powell – GlobalTV.com
They might not be the Ulong or the Matsing tribes but Lulu is inching their way there. Not only have they yet to win a challenge and therefore yet to win their flint to start fire, they have lost two members back-to-back leaving them with four players.
You can be rest assured that if they lose another member there might be a tribal shuffle of some sort to put an end to the agony. Lulu might bounce back though now that they have gotten rid of Hannah and Brandon who were dragging the tribe down but in different ways. Hannah had no heart for the game and that is all Brandon had to offer, his heart and passion. Neither was as advertised.
Your heart has to go out to Lulu though. They have been cut off at the knees and it is only five days into the game. One wonders if they will be strong even to score that first win going forward without Hannah and Brandon to weigh them down.
What have we learned from Brandon and Hannah’s exits? Although the producers would like to advertise that it is, Survivor is clearly not for everyone. You don’t have to be an Olympic athlete or a hardened survivalist to have a successful Survivor journey but you need to be able to endure the psychological, emotional and physical toll the experience will take on you. Being a super fan isn’t always enough to carry you through.
I have to say though I would have made the decision that Bruce did. With three tribes and only six members on each every vote could make a massive difference at Tribal Council. I wouldn’t want to take a risk like that so early in the game and then the pressure of having to explain what happened to my tribemates who might or might believe me. Not only could I lose my vote but I could also lose the trust of my tribe.
Will those lost votes continue to have an impact on the game? Stay tuned, folks.

Brandon Donlon
In his bio he said that he felt like Charlie Bucket from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when he received that golden ticket when he was cast for Survivor. Unfortunately, Brandon didn’t live up to his billing and was more of a liability to his tribe than an asset.
Strategic Gameplay
Brandon really didn’t have much of a strategy other than teaming up with Hannah, another stranger in a strange land.
Rating: 1 / 5
Social Gameplay
Brandon was well-liked but not enough by his tribe to keep him in the cutthroat game.
Rating: 3 / 5
Entertainment Value
It was awkward watching Brandon struggle and struggle often. It was great to see him live out his dream. His love of Survivor is undeniable.

Does Bruce entertain or does he annoy? I guess we will have the answer to that question soon enough.
She did make some strides this episode but you have to figure she is still at the bottom of the Lulu pecking order.
He was dragging his tribe down.
The shot in the dark scheme did work in her favour and she did rehabilitate her image somewhat.
Julie is playing the mother role quite well, building a nice, solid support system for herself.
Sean is the trusted brains at Lulu manoeuvring things along.
