No Do-Overs for Carey Mulligan
That’s right, this is live TV we’re talking about! Carey Mulligan will host Saturday Night Live for her first time. But that’s okay, because she’s a star of stage and screen!
Carey Mulligan will definitely provide a great watch. She’s well known for her tremendous roles in dramas like Drive, Inside Llewyn Davis and The Great Gatsby (as well as one absolutely incredible episode of Doctor Who), so having her on stage for SNL will be a real treat.

What’s Next for SNL?
There are still a few more episodes left in this season. And it’s already been full of surprises. Like, remember when Morgan Wallen was uninvited for not following COVID-19 protocols, and then reinvited, and then appeared in a sketch that was a parody of that entire situation?
And then he was again caught on camera using hate language and everyone uninvited him from his career.
But there’s still time for more surprises! The season finale is about a month away, and it’s going to be a big episode because, well, it usually is. BUT they haven’t had a proper season finale since 2019. Last year’s was SNL At Home and just didn’t carry the same weight. Not to mention the US is slowly getting its population vaccinated and their political turmoil of the past five years is beginning to sort of even out…
So this year will be a party. And you, dedicated fans, can eagerly await the party from your homes, and build up the anticipation Saturday nights by watching Saturday Night Live at 11.30 et/8.30 pt on Global!
Saturday Night Live can be streamed live and On Demand on the new Global TV App and on STACKTV. Global is also available through all major TV service providers.
