That’s right, none other than Jon Snow himself, Kit Harington, will be hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, with musical guest Sara Bareilles!

Game of Thrones Season 8 – the final season of the ubiquitous television series – is just around the corner, and what better way to get hyped (okay, even more hyped) than to watch the star of Game of Thrones show off his comical side? What’s that saying? Behind gallons and gallons of bloody murder, there’s always laughter?

No? That’s not a saying? Well either way, Harington will be GoTing up SNL this weekend, like every other GoT cast member to host SNL over the past couple years. The popularity of their show doesn’t elude them even at 30 Rock, so a week before Jon Snow makes his last season premier, he’ll be laughed at by a live studio audience while Keenan Thompson frustratingly yells about the logic of the situation.

Seriously though, the last time a Game of Thrones actor appeared on Saturday Night Live – Jason Momoa in December of last year – he reprised his character, who has been dead for six years (Khal Drogo, you were too good for this world).

Expect a little something like this (though with Harington playing Jon Snow instead of Pete Davidson, this time around):

Backing up Harington, as musical guest, is Sara Barielles, whose new album “Amidst the Chaos” is dropping at the end of this week!

So as the real end of winter brings around that other end of winter, and as you get psyched for the next, newest episode of Game of Thrones, get even more psyched by watching Kit Harington host Saturday Night Live, as he’ll surely be involved in several Game of Thrones sketches.

And, more than likely, he’ll be constantly harassed by Leslie Jones, on and off screen.

She’s a huge fan, you know.
