“Whispers”
Tan finds himself on a one-man mission to save his new love interest and her journalist co-workers when mercenaries take over a black-tie correspondents’ dinner. After the group escapes, it’s up to SWAT to track down the well-trained gunmen before anyone else is killed. Meanwhile, Hondo and Nichelle return home to find their house trashed, placing them at odds when it’s revealed that Nichelle has a secret. And when Hicks, Mumford and Buck take a trip down memory lane, it threatens to end their decades-long friendships.

With the future of Three Rock in jeopardy, Station 42 and Three Rock host Edgewater’s 22nd Annual Firefighters’ Ball in an effort to impress the governor (Catherine Lough Haggquist) and save the camp. Meanwhile, Gabriela’s mom, Roberta (Paola Nunez), makes a surprise appearance at the event.

“Closure (Catherine McDonald)”
In 1983, Susan Tice, a 45-year-old mother of four was found raped and stabbed to death in her Toronto home. Four months later, across town, 22-year-old Erin Gilmour returns home from work and is attacked the same way. The women didn’t know each other, and both cases remained unsolved for decades. In 2000, DNA profiles from each crime proved their attacker was the same man – but didn’t reveal his identity. It would take another 20 years, but thanks to genetic genealogy research, the killer was arrested, charged and convicted, bringing a measure of closure for the victims’ families.
