Survivor 44 has its final five.

Carolyn Wiger: The eccentric drug counselor from Minnesota who has won over fans by expressing herself openly and honestly always.

Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt: The scrappy engineering manager from Pennsylvania is the last Soka left standing. She has scratched and clawed her way to the finale.

Lauren Harpe: The elementary school teacher from Texas has won individual immunity twice and managed to stay in the game despite losing all of her allies.

Carson Garrett. Photo: CBS.

Carson Garrett: The 21-year-old engineering student played the game with wisdom beyond his years leading the Tika alliance to the final phase of Survivor 44.

Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho. Photo: CBS.

Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho: The salon owner from Puerto Rico has had one of the strongest social games ever on Survivor. His authenticity, sincerity and charm has put many a castaway under his spell throughout the game.

Unfortunately, Jaime Lynn Ruiz, the yogi from Arizona, won’t be in the running. Heidi finally joined the Tika Trio and got on the right side of the vote but not before making sure she was safe and playing her immunity idol. Although Jaime fought to the very end and spearheaded a push to send Carolyn to jury and break up the Tika Trio neither Carson nor Yam Yam were willing to sacrifice their ally. They stayed true to Carolyn and Carolyn stayed in the game.

Going into the finale, Lauren has two immunity challenges wins while Carson and Yam Yam have just one each. Carolyn hasn’t won a single individual challenge. Based on the way tonight’s vote went and how Yam Yam, Carson discussed them being able to beat Carolyn at the final tribal Lauren doesn’t have an ally left in the game and needs to win immunity to make it to the end. Heidi needs to do the same as the odds are really against the Tika Trio turning against each other now.

Who will be the Sole Survivor? Look for our predictions of who will take home the title and the million dollar check that goes along with it coming soon.

Stay tuned, folks.

Jaime Lynn Ruiz

Jaime really came alive midway through the game but never really was a threat to win. With Ratu being targeted by Tika and Soka, she saw her allies drop one by one until she was left adrift grabbing onto anything and anyone who could keep her game afloat.

Strategic Gameplay

She did use her advantages well but also gave her fake idol away to Kane. When it came to strategy she did okay but wasn’t ever the ringmaster or the mastermind.

Social Gameplay

She didn’t appear to make a single enemy. People listened to what she had to say although they didn’t back her plans.

Jaime was like a triangle puzzle piece being forced into a round hole. She appeared to be way too kind and compassionate for such a cutthroat game.

Who played it cool and who proved themselves to be a fool? Every week John Powell makes his picks for the worst and best players of the week.

With everyone targeting Jamie and knowing that the others have repeatedly said what a big threat they thought Jamie was, she made a massive mistake playing that idol.

While she won immunity to save herself she hasn’t made any headway with the Tika Trio or Heidi.

Her social game was her best shot at winning and that didn’t pan out in the end.

In the end, he stayed true to the Tika Trio and didn’t betray them.

He kept the Tika Trio on the same page. He is the glue that bonded them and kept them together.

She proved her loyalty to Carson by protecting him once again letting him know that Jamie was plotting against him. That is what solidified the Jaime vote.
