Celebrity Big Brother: Battle Lines Drawn in Series Premiere

The stars have come out for Celebrity Big Brother but if they were expecting to be pampered and pleased, they have another thing coming.
On the series premiere, the celebrities were treated just as any regular Big Brother contestants have been. They were forced to hold onto spinning award statues as slime and water was dumped on them and had all of their plans flushed away by a twist.
Take that, big shots.

Admitted Big Brother superfan, Shannon Elizabeth, won the first HOH (Head of Household) of the season by holding onto her spinning award the longest edging out actor and singer, James Maslow.
The order of elimination was Marissa Jaret Winokur, Metta World Peace, Mark McGrath, Ross Mathews, Chuck Liddell, Ariadna Gutiérrez, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Brandi Lynn Glanville and James.
Omarosa Manigault didn’t have to compete as she won immunity for the week. She still made her presence felt during the HOH competition though stepping in when James tried to make a deal with Shannon.
“You cannot make a deal with her when you are adjusting. You cannot make a deal from a position of weakness,” she said to James shutting things down. Omarosa is also responsible for bringing the women together to form an alliance.
Although Shannon won the HOH power, the celebrities were presented with gift bags. In one of them is the ‘Recast Power’ which will allow the possessor to change the current HOH.
“This twist has thrown my entire game off,” said an unhappy Shannon.
The three-night premiere continues tomorrow night and with a live 2-hour eviction show Friday night on Global.
