Jim Carrey Rings In Halloween and Wraps Up Election on Saturday Night Live
Saturday Night Live shares some scares as Jim Carrey returns as Joe Biden, and waxes Poe-etic about the possibility of Trump winning on Tuesday.

Quoth the Biden, “Nevermore”
Jim Carrey opened the episode for the hopefully-not-last time. From his spooky den, he reads passages from his Edgar Allan Poe-esque poem about Tuesday’s election. And he is visited by nay-sayers and encouragers alike. Kate McKinnon brought back her Hillary Rodham Clinton to scare ol’ Joe. And Maya Rudolph showed up as Kamala Harris to give him some encouragement. Even Mitch McConnell walked through the door to disrupt Biden, and show off his dying hands.
Will this be the last showing of Jim Carrey’s Biden? Probably not, even if he loses the election on Tuesday. But his staying power will be directly affected by the outcome of this week’s election. It’s been a long four years for Canada’s closest ally. Hopefully, whatever happens on Tuesday, America can heal from it and eventually move forward.
Until then, we haven’t seen the last of Carrey’s Biden, or Alec Baldwin’s Trump, for that matter. So stay tuned either way!

John Mulaney Brings Back Recurring Characters
Something has been missing from Saturday Night Live over the past several seasons. And that’s recurring characters. SNL leaned hard on characters all through the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, but in more recent years, they’ve pulled back from them. But John Mulaney has brought them back.
He’s known as the co-creator of one of the more popular recurring characters of the last decade, Bill Hader’s Stefan. So he’s got a spot for them. And last night, he brought back a couple of sketches that he’s done before. We got another New York Musical sketch (remember Diner Lobster?) that goes nowhere in all the right ways. And there was another Uncle Meme sketch, where a man’s nephew (Pete Davidson) harasses his uncle with memes.
Next week, November 6, Dave Chappelle will host. It will finally be a post-election world. And while there’s a chance the presidency won’t be called even by that point, there will be a lot going on this week. So don’t miss it!
Saturday Night Live can be streamed live and On Demand on the new Global TV App and on STACKTV. Global is also available through all major TV service providers.
