Ashley’s Trail has ended. The bartender is the first to be voted out of the house this season. She is grateful for the experience and knows exactly who she wants out next.

John Powell: It’s great to be talking to you. How are you today?

Ashley Trail: Oh, I’m doing so good. How are you, John?

John Powell: Fine, thank you! You’ve had a few days now to kind of decompress, thankfully and reflect on everything. How are you feeling about the overall experience now?

Ashley Trail: I’m feeling so grateful that I was ever in the BB house and the fact that I was in the house for a week but even the fact that I was in the cast, I’m so grateful! I wish I was still there. Honestly, like I want to be a part of the now new-found drama that they’re experiencing.

John Powell: You’ve been able to catch up a little bit. What’s the most surprising thing that you found out or discovered about what’s going on in there?

Ashley Trail: I guess I didn’t know that there was such a set in stone alliance between The Red Corner and the Tool Shed but the Haley, Chuck and Kamu collabing with Angela, Barrett Drew? I was like, dang! They are in set with each other and I guess I just didn’t pick on that up on that fully.

John Powell: Where do you think you fell short? What do you think you need to do if you were to go back? What would you change about your game?

Ashley Trail: From the beginning, I feel really felt like I was in a bad spot in my game. Socially, I feel like I wasn’t being taken seriously. Also, competitively, I never even got to compete really until I fought for my life in the Block Buster. So I feel like I wasn’t also being taken necessarily serious as a competitor either, so that was already a hiccup.

However, what I could have done personally without all the outside noise is really just kind of trusted word of mouth, maybe more about the people that said that they wanted to keep me. However, you can’t always trust that people are going to do things for you in the Big Brother house. So then, whenever I got the advice to kind of go and campaign and split the house against each other and campaign for my vote, I needed to campaign for that vote because the people that said they were going to keep me safe wouldn’t be enough.

John Powell: Your vote was unanimous. Who are you really surprised by looking at the vote?

Ashley Trail: Shocked and surprised that I didn’t at least get Angela’s vote, right? Barrett and maybe Drew too just because they were so convincing in stating their support for me. So, I was really shocked because you don’t need to hold any type of loyalty Day One, of course, but that goes the same for they don’t need to hold any loyalty for the other side to see that they’re fully with them. Obviously, not everybody’s not fully with each other. It’s crazy for Week One.

John Powell: It must have been really surprising when it comes to Angela because you were really close to her in the house.

Ashley Trail: I felt really a good connection with Angela. We would get to chatting and it got deep and intense but it also got fun and I could just really confide in her. She shared her news with me of her sadness. I shared with her and I really expected her vote for sure.

John Powell: I’m going to give you a little bit of get back here. Who do you hope leaves next, Ashley?

Ashley Trail: Dare I say? This is no bad blood on a personal level. However, I think she was the detriment to my game is Melody. Just because, truth be told, I might still be in the house if she hadn’t gone off and ratted what I told her when I was being trusting and confiding in her.

John Powell: If you were to go back to the Big Brother house, maybe another season, who would you not want to live with out of all those people and why?

Ashley Trail: Oh, boy, that is crazy! Do you know what? I’m just going to go with the Crop Dusters in the house. If I was in the kitchen eating a little bit of a Clif Bar and got a little stench under my nose, whoever that might have been in my vicinity, don’t want them.

John Powell: Who do you think people should be trusting of and who do you think people should not be trusting at all at this time?

Ashley Trail: Oh gosh, I mean, you know what? Nobody’s being fully 100% transparent. However, Dee and Devon seem to be playing a pretty honest game, especially with Devens completely just saying what he thinks about Rome at the noms. That was insane! I see a lot of skepticism about how Drew might be kind of playing both sides of the house but it’s to his advantage. So, if I was aligned with him I might be a little nervous if he’s not being fully up front.

John Powell: Right now, if they were to get you on the phone, if they were to send you message, would you come back and play again and what would you do differently this time around?

Ashley Trail: In a heartbeat, I would pick up that phone! Hello! I wouldn’t try and change my personality but I would just play it more cool in a sense of like, if I’m going to talk to you one-on-one. We don’t even need to exchange each other’s favorite colors. Let’s go ahead and get right to game talk but whenever we’re in those big groups, sure, like I’ll put on a face of like joy and laughter and fun but if they’re not reciprocating it, whatever. I’ll try again to the next person and just see where people can take me seriously and like think that I’m their ally.
