The monumental Survivor 50 looms on the horizon but we have to put Survivor 49 to bed first. This season sure had its ups and downs. What it didn’t lack though is Survivor’s flair for the dramatic whether it be in the game or on a personal level. Who will take home the title of Sole Survivor? Here is our best guess.

Sole Survivor

As many of the Survivors have alluded to in their exit interviews with me, they are looking for someone who played a mission-driven, deliberate game and that was Savannah. She kept her eyes on the prize for the entire game never faltering even when she was at the bottom and things looked bleak. Many describe her as using her journalistic skills to pry information out of other players but not revealing much in return. Of the seven individual immunity challenges thus far she has won 42% of them. Despite a rocky social game, Savannah surrounded herself with dedicated and loyal allies.

Second Place

Rizo’s downfall seems to be all of his tribal council theatrics. As we saw last episode with them visibly rolling their eyes to the heavens, they may appreciate his gameplay but they don’t like his histrionics and melodrama at tribal council which could be seen as belittling and mocking the other players. Rizo did play a very strong game despite not winning any individual immunity challenges but his attitude, bravado is what will sink his game in the eyes of the jury.

Third Place

One of the best social games this season but she is seen fairly or unfairly by the jury as a coat-tail rider who was dragged to the end by Rizo and Savannah, never made any strong moves of her own.

Fourth Place

Lots of drama and emotions from her this season. She wasn’t a very dominant or key player though. She will be kept around because she doesn’t pose a threat to the Uli Three.

Fifth Place

Now that the trio has no further use for her, they will dump her as quickly as possible as she is a genuine threat when it comes to jury votes. If she doesn’t win immunity, she is toast.
