Mr. Host

What are the chances that a ruthless terrorist would be invited on stage at Saturday Night Live? Well, if you look at past guests – and depending on your views – you might be surprised at how often. But this weekend, it’s no ordinary terrorist – just the guy that plays one! Rami Malek is hot off the promo train for No Time to Die, with his destination being SNL.

Rami Malek has been a long awaited SNL host. And now that he’s there… what are they going to do with him? Has it been too long for a Mr. Robot parody? Can they avoid lampooning James Bond? Who knows! But the sure way to find out what a Rami Malek-focused episode of Saturday Night Live looks like is to watch it, this Saturday October 16 at 11.30 et/8.30 pt on Global!

The Story So Far…

Two great episodes of Saturday Night Live have aired this 47th season. We’ve welcomed new cast members Sarah Sherman, Aristotle Athari, and James Austin Johnson – an impressionist known for his eerily accurate Donald Trump impression, and who was likely cherry-picked to be the designated Biden.

We also said goodbye to long-term cast member Beck Bennett, and short-lived cast member Lauren Holt. We didn’t really get to know Lauren Holt that well – it would have been nice to – but there will be a gap left by Beck Bennett’s bye-bye.

Owen Wilson hosted the season premier, without incident. Then Kim Kardashian hosted episode number two. And despite Kanye West being on the premises, that episode also aired without incident. In fact, critics are praising Kardashian for her performance on the episode.

You can get caught up by watching Owen Wilson’s and Kim Kardashian’s episode here on GlobalTV.com, and watch Saturday Night Live live! This weekend at 11.30 et/8.30 pt, on Global!

Saturday Night Live can be streamed live and On Demand on the new Global TV App and on STACKTV. Global is also available through all major TV service providers.
