Live Feed Spoilers: Power of the Publicist causes havoc

The Power of the Publicist twist is causing paranoia and rifts to form in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The Fun Five alliance in particular were quarreling as they were fearful of what the power could do to Tom’s HoH. Tom has nominated Joey and Kandi for eviction with the idea of possibly backdooring Ricky.

“I am trying to figure out who has the power,” said Tom as he, Kato, Natalie and Lolo spoke in the gym. Everyone swore they weren’t awarded the power.

“Of course America is not going to give anyone in this alliance a special power if they want to see an interesting show,” Lolo guessed.

“What is our alliance?” asked Tom.

“Are you going crazy again, Tom? Don’t go DEFCON again. I cannot deal with this again. You know our alliance. It is five,” said an upset Lolo.

“I am a team mate. I am loyal. I just evicted one of my Olympic team mates to show you how loyal I am! I will not go through this!” she said raising her voice.

Lolo accused Tom of never having her back in the game.

“I know what’s happening. Let’s talk later,” said Tom as he quickly left the room.

“Kato, I am not cool with the paranoia,” said Lolo as Kato went after Tom.

Kato managed to calm Tom down in the HoH room. Tom had though that perhaps Lolo and Natalie were working with Ricky against them.

Later, they went to speak to Lolo and Natalie again.

Tom and Lolo immediately apologized to each other.

“I am sorry, Tom. I should have been calmer,” said Lolo.

Tom explained his thinking. He believes Ricky has the power and eventually he will break up the Fun Five by siding with either himself and Kato or Lolo and Natalie.

Tom also thinks viewers awarded Ricky the power because they have seen himself and Kato discussing the option of backdooring Ricky.

The Power of the Publicist will allow the chosen Houseguest to remove him or herself from nomination at one of the next two Nomination Ceremonies or Veto Meetings. The power can only be used once and expires after the Veto Meeting on Feb. 4, 2019, whether it is used or not.
