Rylie didn’t win the Power of Veto yesterday and that is weighing on his conscience. Not because he is still on the block but that HoH Mickey might put Katherine on the block when Keanu uses the Veto on himself at Monday’s meeting.

Rachel sat with Rylie as they had a heart-to-heart chat in the backyard.

“I don’t want it to seem like I’m trying to protect her in that kind of way. I just want her to at least have a chance. I promised her I’d take care of her and today I just felt like I failed her. You know?” said Rylie.

“That is very sweet and very romantic,” said Rachel.

“I feel like I failed her,” said Rylie starting to cry.

“You didn’t,” said Rachel.

“I wasn’t able to secure her safety,” replied Rylie.

“You didn’t fail her,” said Rachel trying to reassure him.

“The only thing that sucks is if people love me, they should love the person I love and trust that she’ll be there for them, just like I would. Because I wouldn’t be doing this if I didn’t know that was true. Seeing her hurt, knowing she could potentially go on the block, it kills me,” said Rylie wiping away some tears.

“If there is a way to save her you have to talk to Mickey. You just need to convince Mickey that you will never come for her and neither will Katherine,” suggested Rachel.

“I want her to make a big move right now and I’ll back her. Anyone who makes a big move, I don’t give a f–k, Rachel! I’ll back them because I know I can compete. As long as Katherine’s safe, that’s all I care about. I want her to have a good life. I know where she comes from, what she’s been through. I know where I come from and I know this could change my life. At the end of the day, if it is me and get at the end I would want her to win,” he said.

“I want to see her standing on that confetti. I’m not saying I want her to beat all of you but if it came down to it, I’d give it to her. That would be my win. Getting to meet her, to experience her means more to me than $750,000 because that lasts a lifetime. That money doesn’t. That’s the f—–g hardest part,” he continued.

Rachel began crying too, wiping away her tears. She told Rylie that some of the best conversations you will ever have are in the house.

“She’s a sweet girl. She doesn’t mean harm to anyone. She’s not a threat in this game. She’s not going to take anyone out. I’m not gonna say this in front of others but I hope she wins. I want nothing but the best for that girl,” said Rylie. “People might say she’s not a threat but she’s not dead weight either. She’s someone you can get along with, someone who will be on your side. I just want her to enjoy her time here. I told her to come find me when she was heading in. I wanted to be the last person she talked to before bed. I want her to sleep on my words and remember every one of them.”

“So, take every second. Use it to get to know her. You’ll build something incredible. So, don’t waste your time talking to me. Go talk to her,” said Rachel.

“I told her, there’s nothing in this game that compares to her. No amount of money. Seriously. I’ve got all the time in the world after this. If I get thrown out and she’s still in I’ll be the first one to see her when she leaves,” said Rylie crying again.

“You need to spend every second talking to her. Talk to Mickey tonight if you need to but every other minute? It should be with Katherine. You need to get to know her. This week is hard but you’ll get through it. Every second matters. Win HoHs, win Vetoes. Every win buys you more time with her,” advised Rachel.

“That’s why I was so torn up today. I wasn’t even thinking about myself on the block. All I could think about was keeping noms the same, so she didn’t go up. That last damn button, it was everything. I was trying so hard,” said Rylie.
