The family of Constable André Lalonde has searched for answers for 25 years. The veteran officer with the Montreal Police Department, known for his friendly nature and his big moustache, was shot three times at close range after pulling over a car with a noisy muffler. Mike Armstrong, a rookie reporter at the time of the killing, explores the impact this murder had on Lalonde’s wife and two children, and the questions that continue to haunt investigators in their search to find his killer.

Dr. Sam Griffith (Sophia Bush) fights to keep her new leadership role as chief of surgery when her father and former boss, Dr. Rob “Griff” Griffith (Jason Isaacs), takes his case for reinstatement directly to the hospital board. Also, resident Dr. Caleb Tucker (Michael Stahl-David), Sam’s ex, forms an unexpected connection to a patient battling a mystery condition.

After her son’s body is recovered in Mississippi, Mamie insists on having a public wake with an open casket to ensure that he did not die in vain. The case becomes national news, which puts pressure on Mississippi officials to do the unthinkable – go to trial.

Bull and Chunk aim to prove that their client, a woman on trial for murder, committed the crime due to a lack of behavioural control caused by a brain tumor.
