One thing is certain this week. Lyric will not be following her beau out the door. Lyric won this week’s Power of Veto Competition. That suits HoH Kamu fine as Jason has always been his target for winning competitions and coming so close in many others.

After the Veto Competition, winner Lyric spoke to a defeated LaTrice who talked about just quitting and going home. Latrice is just happy that Lyric won and not Mallory.

Speaking with Mallory some time later, Lyric told her that she needs to make sure she has the votes to stay just in case Jason wins the Block Buster and she is against LaTrice. LaTrice is very popular in the house as she has one of the best social games. Mallory says she is going to work on Ashley as she doesn’t get along with LaTrice at all.

Mallory thinks that HoH Kamu must be pleased with the result because now all he has to do is put up Jason, his real target. Mallory thinks that Devens might have the power this week.

At the pool, Kamu says that when he puts Jason on the block he will term it as an eye for eye. He threw his name out there so he is just reciprocating.

Devens advises Kamu not to. Any explanation he gives will be like handing ammunition to Jason.

Meeting with Taylor in the HoH room, Kanu told her that he met with Jason before nominations.

Jason was relieved that Kanu wasn’t nominating him. In return, Kanu asked Jason if he won the Veto he would let Kanu decide how to use it and Jason agreed.

Kanu explained that he keeps getting lumped in with Chuck and Hayley when he does not have an alliance with them in any way.

“I am on the bottom of that three,” said Kanu.
