He just couldn’t close the deal.

Isaiah “Zae” Frederich, the salesman from Utah, has the distinction of being the first houseguest to be voted out this season.

After being nominated by HoH Vince, Zae failed to win veto or the Block Buster competitions.

He was sent home by a vote of 9 to 5.

Kelley Jorgensen, the web designer, won the first ever Block Buster competition taking herself off the block leaving Zae and Amy Bingham, the insurance agent, to battle it out in the final eviction vote.

“That does surprise me actually. He told me he wanted to be final two with me,” said Zae to host Julie Chen-Moonves when she asked him about why Rylie, the bull rider, didn’t vote for him to stay.

During the show, viewers saw the creepy Mastermind sneak back into the house and fiddle with a safe.

What could it all mean? Perhaps we will find out on Sunday’s episode which will also feature the new HoH and their nominations.
