Last week on The Young and the Restless….
Sharon’s past the denial stage about her marriage, and in full out panic mode. Where on earth is Dylan? He’s in Miami, to be exact, flirting with a drug lord’s number two in command- who happens to be an attractive woman named Alex. As Dylan gets deeper into this ‘Derek Young’ character, he starts to cross a few lines. Namely, getting hot and heavy with Alex in his hotel room. Alex pressures Dylan to do cocaine with her, which should be routine for the drug dealer Dylan is playing. Back at the station, Kevin is already wondering how many illegal lines Dylan will have to cross to take Fisk down.
We left off last week with Gloria secretly meeting with Jack about taking Fenmore’s. This week, Gloria takes her plan to sabotage Lauren even further. After Lauren finished meeting with the perfect silent investor, Gloria follows him out of the meeting and straight into the spa. She casually follows the investor into the sauna, pretending that she’s unwinding from a stressful day- a day that involved terrible customer service from Fenmore’s. After listening to Gloria’s troubles with Fenmore’s, the investor phones Lauren to say he wants full disclosure and access to all the books. Being the smart business woman she is, Lauren suspects sabotage.
Devon’s feeling stronger, and ready to get out of the hospital. Hilary’s taking him home to everyone’s surprise. At the club, Neil takes a meeting with Jack, where Jack warns him about the questions he’s getting from the press about Devon. Why was there alcohol at a charity benefit for addicts? He pushes Neil to prepare a press release, but Neil thinks it’s unnecessary. At home, Devon starts to remember what happened before the accident. Later, Hilary attempts to tell the truth, but Devon keeps cutting her off to talk about his own shortcomings. It may only be a matter of time until he remembers the argument that sent him off the rails.
Reed has questions, and brings a handful of condoms to Brash & Sassy to ask Billy about them. Billy becomes uncomfortable and suggests he have this sex talk with his dad, but Reed clearly sees Billy as the better to person to talk to. Victoria feels like she’s on the outside looking in when it comes to Reed. She’s already reminded Billy that he’s not Reed’s father and that he needs to back off. Victoria asks Billy what their conversation was about, to which Billy simply replies “guy stuff.” Later, Reed suspiciously slams his laptop closed when Vic and the kids enter the house so that he doesn’t get caught on an X-rated site. She soon finds her credit card on the desk. What is Reed up to?
