Today’s another Friday, and another line up of wonderful guests to close the week! Here’s a little bit about each guest, in case you don’t already know him or her. However, be warned: possible spoilers for tonight’s show ahead!
What happens when an unstoppable force hits an immovable object? Well, two Late Show hosts on one Late Show might be the closest thing. James Corden hosts The Late Late Show with James Corden, which airs after The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS. James Corden took over for Craig Ferguson earlier this year in March, so like Stephen, he’s new to the game. Find out who the alpha interviewer is!
Ottawa-born Shane Smith is a journalist, best known for founding a little magazine called VICE. Perhaps you’ve heard of it? VICE is known for cultural and social commentary, often not what mainstream media is covering at the time. Smith is CEO of Vice Media, which not only owns VICE magazine, but more than a dozen other media outlets, including Vice Records, VICE FILMS and a handful of digital channels.
The 21-year-old Halsey (not her real name, by the way – though if you stick the “h” between the “s” and the “l” after you switch them, you’ll figure it out) got her break like so many young musicians of her generation do these days: on YouTube. She started as a cover artist, and after exploding in popularity, began recording original electropop songs. He debut album, Badlands, was released in August of this year, immediately charting at #2 on US Billboard 200.
It’s been a heck of a week; so don’t miss the finale tonight, with these great guests! Come back Monday for another five days of excitement and laughs, airing 11:35 et/pt on Global!
