Star of the hit new series The Neighborhood Max Greenfield visited The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, bringing a lot of his personal life with him, including his daughter, and details regarding an intimate scene he’ll be filming for Veronica Mars.
Max Greenfield’s visit to The Late Show almost didn’t happen. Greenfield brought his daughter with him from Sunny L.A. to currently dreary New York – and when she saw the snow that the two of them would have to traverse in order to get to the Ed Sullivan Theater, she all but full on hit the brakes on making his Late Show appearance.
It’s a good thing for everyone else that she changed her mind – though it’s easy to understand the reluctance if you’ve ever experienced a north-east coast winter like this one.
Max Greenfield, known for New Girl, Ugly Betty and Veronica Mars, currently stars in the new hit series The Neighborhood, airing Mondays at 8 ET/PT on Global. With an incredible first season still in the making, The Neighborhood has recently celebrated its renewal for a second season!
So obviously, because Max Greenfield apparently takes his daughter everywhere, and because it doesn’t snow in L.A., she sometimes accompanies him to The Neighborhood‘s set. Makes sense – you see all these other celebrities with their kids on set and it seems like a blast. Well, his first story about her vote to not go on The Late Show kind of sets the tone for his next story, and makes you think that maybe it’s not the weather that was discouraging her.
In addition to The Neighborhood, Greenfield has been filming an upcoming Veronica Mars movie/reboot, much to fandom’s collective excitement. Less excited is Greenfield himself, who recently received pages detailing an upcoming scene being more… erotic in nature, than he was expecting.
He can at least count on never doing that kind of scene on The Neighborhood. Probably.
Greenfield is on fire right now, just last year jumping straight from the long-running New Girl right into The Neighborhood, which just got a very early renewal for season two, and now the whole Veronica Mars stuff. He’s one to watch, and you can do that here on GlobalTV.com, and every Monday at 8 et/pt on Global!
