Hillary Clinton Talks Trump and New Book ‘What Happened’ on The Late Show

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is back after a short hiatus! While they were gone, The Late Show celebrated its second anniversary with Stephen Colbert! Has it only been two years that we’ve been honoured with Stephen as the host of The Late Show?

That also means that it’s been almost two years since Hillary Clinton has appeared on The Late Show, first guesting in October of 2015. And last night, she returned to talk about so many things, including her new book What Happened, what actually happened, and of course what is happening.

Stephen opened the interview with the all-too-obvious question that everyone is still wondering:

And then she really got into it, naming names and pointing fingers (including toward herself), digging and jabbing at those who actually deserve some blame for the mess last year.

With all that said and done, and moving on, Donald Trump addressed the UN regarding North Korea this week. It wasn’t as diplomatic as the president of the United States of America should have been, and Clinton has some words as to how it should have been done.

Clinton is a serious woman, but it’s not all business with her. After a long and serious interview, both Clinton and Stephen unwind with a glass of chardonnay.

What a person she is. It’s easy to dwell on the question “What Happened.” But for sanity’s sake, it’s best to move on from it for now.
