Just when you think you’re safe, just when you think you have the entire game figured out, the Survivor gods can lay the best plans to rest, permanently.
At the new Takali Tribe this week, Adam Klein found himself between a rock and a hard place. On one side, there was Taylor and Figgy, Adam’s allies from the original Millennials Tribe. On the other, there was Jessica and Ken from the original Generation X Tribe.
As the swing vote, Adam had a clear choice. He could jump ship and bail on the showmance or he could form a new alliance with strategic partners Ken and Jessica. Not an easy decision to make with all of the present and perhaps future factors at play.
At Ikabula, Jay found the Hidden Immunity Idol with Will in tow but their celebration was cut short when Michaela discovered their clandestine search. In a testimonial, Michaela claimed she will keep the discovery a secret but would use the information against Jay and Will, if she has to. So devious that.

Survivor Scoop – Week 6 : Game Fail: Jessica “Figgy” Figueroa
The first and perhaps the only showmance on Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X has been torn asunder. The budding romance between Figgy and Taylor is no more now that Figgy is out of the game.
An unpredictable player who even suggested voting off Taylor back on the Millennials Tribe, Figgy looked as if she was more interested in the notion of being on Survivor rather than playing Survivor.
Figgy’s showmance with Taylor made her an immediate target on the Millennials Tribe with Zeke and others gunning for her. Without Michelle gathering up Will and making the moves she did, Figgy could have easily been voted out.
Not only did she not hide the showmance at the Millennials Tribe but she wasn’t very discrete about it at the new Takali either, again making herself a target.
Figgy publicly celebrating CeCe’s boot at the Reward Challenge was another blunder. Revealing your cards to everyone is never a good move.
At Tribal Council where Adam was the swing vote, Figgy along with Taylor, continued to brazenly boast about having the numbers and all the power at Takali.
Figgy just didn’t know when to bite her tongue and to keep secrets a secret.
Rating: 1 / 5
As a bartender, Figgy was no stranger to mingling with and entertaining all different personalities and people. She spread herself out well but everything always seemed to come back to Taylor and that was obvious to the people around her.
Rating: 2.5 / 5
Although you knew from her gameplay she was going to flame out eventually, Figgy was great to watch even if it was just to see which misstep would be her last.
Rating: 3.5 / 5
Final Castaway Rating: 7 / 15
Survivor Scoop – Week 6: Powell’s Picks
Who played it cool and who proved themselves to be a fool? Every week John Powell makes his picks for the worst and best players of the week.
Bronze Amateur: Taylor Lee Stocker, Michaela Bradshaw
Taylor put a showmance before the game and is now teetering on the edge of elimination and Michaela aiding one tribe over another at the Immunity Challenge, then making a snide comment about it, may have made her some enemies.
Silver Amateur: Michelle Schubert
By defending and not deflecting Figgy’s public comments at the Reward Challenge she exposed herself and her game.
Gold Amateur: Jessica “Figgy” Figueroa
Camera time won out over game time.
Bronze MVP: Zeke Smith
He has a good sense of his place in the game and is willing to evolve his to move ahead.
Silver MVP: Ken McNickle and Jessica Lewis
They made a move, turned things around and secured their place in the game.
Gold MVP: Adam Klein
He took out the showmance, got rid of an unpredictable player which may bode well for his future in the game.
