It is almost time for Jeff Probst to count those final votes and announce this season’s Sole Survivor. Before we get to that though, we have our own awards to hand out as we present our Survivor: Game Changers Awards.

The Insert Foot Into Mouth Award

Winners: Sierra Dawn / Jeff Varner

Jeff’s tactics at that infamous Tribal Council not only sunk his game but also his reputation outside of it. Sierra Dawn should never have told Sarah about the Legacy Advantage.

The Phillip Sheppard Award

Awarded to the worst dressed Survivor.

Winner: Aubry Bracco

That awful blue top that is two-sizes too big needs to be thrown into the camp fire.

The Marissa Cooper Award

Named after The OC’s most infamous departure, this award is given to the Survivor who we wished would have stuck around a little bit longer.

Winner: Sandra Diaz-Twine

Sandra made such a massive impact on the game and provided Survivor: Game Changers with some of its best and controversial moments. If she had stuck around, one wonders what further chaos she would have caused.

The Richard Hatch Award

Given to the contestant who has masterfully schemed and outwitted their fellow players.

Winners: Sarah Lacina and Sandra Diaz-Twine.

Sarah made some great decisions and pulled off some key moves this season while Sandra cast more of her unbelievable magic that has always been her Survivor forte.

The Susan Richards Award

Named after the member of Marvel’s Fantastic Four and her superhuman ability to turn invisible.

Winner: Ciera Eastin

For such a hardcore and aggressive player, Ciera disappeared without making any kind of impact at all this season.

The Space Ghost Award

Named after Hanna-Barbera’s intergalactic superhero who could use his Inviso-Belt to turn, well, invisible.

Winner: Caleb Reynolds and Troy “Troyzan” Robertson

Caleb was another player who was supposed to set the game on fire and left with a whimper not a bang and the indigenous insects, animals were featured more than Troyzan.

The Russell Hantz Award

Awarded to the Survivor with the worst social game.

Winners: Hali Ford / Michaela Bradshaw

Both just never fit in very well no matter how hard they tried.

The Erik Reichenbach Award

Recognizing the most foolish strategic move of the season.

Winner: Jeff Varner

Everything was going fine for Varner until he used Zeke’s status as trans-gender against him. Some would argue it was the very worst move every made in Survivor.

Best Twist of the Season

Winner: The Joint Tribal Council

Having two tribes eliminate a single castaway at Tribal Council made for one of the best and most dramatic Tribal Councils ever.

Terms of Endearment Award

Awarded to the most heart-breaking moment of the season.

Winner: Zeke is outed.

It was one of the most shameful and tragic moments on Survivor but it was one of the most uplifting when one considers how much love and support Zeke received.

If At First You Don’t Succeed Award

Awarded to the Survivor who deserve to play again.

Winners: Malcolm Freberg, Sierra Dawn Thomas.
Malcolm was taken out by a twist, never had a chance and Sierra Dawn really stepped up her game to a whole new level.
