The Big Brother super fan is now a Big Brother champion.
Steve Moses, the 22-year-old college student from New York, is the winner of Big Brother and the $500,000 grand prize.
In the finals with Liz Nolan, the 23-year-old marketing coordinator from Miami who was part of the twin twist this season, Steve won the jury vote by a 6 to 3 margin.
Vanessa, Austin and Liz’s twin Julia were the only votes for Liz to win. Finishing second, she won $50,000.
“Winning wasn’t one of the possibilities when I came here. I was just kinda hoping not to be the first one out so I have no idea. Just a lot of saving and being smart with it,” Steve said to host Julie Chen when asked what he was going to do with the prize money.
Steve won the final Head of Household of the season and voted Vanessa out.
“I am thoroughly convinced you are the strongest female player this game has ever seen. Your strategy is beyond brilliant. You are such a talker. You are so charismatic. I as a fan admire everything about your game and I know you can talk your way in with that jury,” said Steve as he voted Vanessa out and sent her to the jury.
Speaking to Chen, Vanessa expressed no resentment over Steve’s decision.
“No, I wasn’t going to. I cannot blame him,” she said admitting she wasn’t going to take Steve to the finals if she had won the final Head of Household.
James Huling, the 31-year-old retail associate from Texas, was voted by viewers as America’s Favourite HouseGuest and pocketed a special $25,000 prize.
