It looks like it is all over but the voting.
Vanessa Rousso, the 32-year-old professional poker player from Las Vegas, is well on her way to being backdoored out of the Big Brother house.
As Head of Household, Becky nominated Steve and Shelli for eviction. Steve won the Veto Competition which, according to discussion on the feeds, had something to do with a memory contest involving comic books.
At today’s Veto Meeting, the final phase of Becky’s plan was carried out successfully. Steve used the Veto to save himself and Vanessa was nominated in his place, virtually sealing her fate in the game.
“Vanessa believes wholeheartedly, wholeheartedly, I am putting you up on the block today,” a giddy Becky told John on the live feeds before the meeting.
In the HoH room, Becky met with Austin and revealed her plan and her reasons.
“She has been bullying James,” Becky said also claiming Vanessa has promised to cause chaos in the jury house and hasn’t been loyal to anyone. “She has been full-on panic this week.”
After the Veto Ceremony, Becky spoke to Austin, Liz and Julia in the HoH room.
“Last week, I caught Vanessa playing all sides of the house. This girl cares only about herself and her game,” said Becky.
In the bedroom downstairs, Vanessa contemplated what cards to play with Shelli.
“I have a lot of information on her,” Vanessa said to Shelli.
“What good is it going to do now,” replied Shelli.
“What good will it do? We will see,” pledged Vanessa.
“I don’t like hypocrites and she is one of the biggest ones ever. You want to be a hypocrite, fine, but don’t think you are going to be a hypocrite in hiding. Everyone is going to know you are a hypocrite, it is as simple as that,” vowed Vanessa.
“You are my friend. I adore you. I just want you to know this is not going to change my feelings for you,” reassured Shelli.
“I hope you didn’t know about this beforehand because if you knew, honestly, I will take that as a deep betrayal,” said Vanessa claiming that Becky’s speech about her being disloyal is simply not true. She always supported the Sixth Sense alliance.
“For two weeks in a row, my number one person is on the block with me,” lamented Shelli.
Later on, the remaining members of the Sixth Sense alliance met. They hoped Julie Chen’s hint at a returning juror meant Vanessa would return and this week was just a minor setback for them.
After collecting herself, Vanessa spoke with Becky in the backyard alone.
“Those were some harsh words. I’d love it if you could explain,” Vanessa asked Becky about her comments during the Veto Ceremony.
The answer Becky gave for the backdoor set-up is she felt pressured by Vanessa when the Dark Moon alliance was formed.
“You know what, this is how I feel. I am going to end it here. I felt like my word was being forced from me, not given. That is what I will give you,” Becky snapped and then walked away.
“I don’t understand why you are being so venomous, with me,” said Vanessa to a departing Becky. “You’re a cold-hearted person. You really are.”
This Thursday’s live show will be the first double eviction episode of the season.
Big Brother airs on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday nights on Global.
