The Academy of Country Music Awards are coming to Global

Hold on to your hats, cowboys and girls – Country Music’s Party of the Year® is coming back to Canada, as the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards® air Sunday, April 3 at 8 et/pt. The boot stompin’ soiree  is hosted by reigning ACM Awards Entertainer of the Year, Luke Bryan, and megastar Dierks Bentley. The two will honour some of country music’s best and brightest stars, and hottest emerging talent, straight from Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Lighting up the stage with blockbuster performances are co-hosts Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley, country superstar Keith Urban, multi-Grammy Award® winner Carrie Underwood, music duo Florida Georgia Line, newcomer Cam, country music veteran Kenny Chesney and chart-topper Tim McGraw, debuting his new single “Humble and Kind.” Also scheduled to perform are Kelsea Ballerini, Eric Church, and Sam Hunt – and Brett Eldredge and Chris Young with Cassadee Pope have recently been added to the incredible lineup of artists.

Nominations for country music’s cream of the crop have been announced, with singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton leading the pack with seven nods, followed by country rocker Eric Church and newcomer Cam with six nominations each. Additional nominees include Little Big Town up for five awards, Chris Janson, Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett each up for three, and Zac Brown Band nominated for Vocal Group of the Year.
