Is fate a formula? Are our lives invisibly tied to those whose destinies touch ours? Blending science, spirituality and emotion, Global’s new dramatic series, Touch starring Kiefer Sutherland, follows seemingly unrelated people all over the world whose lives affect each other in ways seen and unseen, known and unknown.
In a recent campaign, Global Television put the power in the hands of Canadians by spreading 175 phones across the country to see if we have what it takes to touch each others lives by sharing images that have inspired us.
Using mobile phones, people were instructed to take a picture of a person, place or thing that has touched their life and made a difference that day no matter how big or small. Once they shared that picture, we asked them to pass the phone along to a friend, family member or stranger to continue the connection and spread the word. For each new image uploaded by a different individual, 10 cents was donated to Make-A-Wish® Canada.
