New
business deals led to romance throughout Genoa City.
Nikki was devastated to learn that Victor had lied to her once again about his
involvement with Chelsea.
Genevieve prepared to finally marry Jack, but was crushed to overhear him
telling Nikki that he planned to stay married to her only long enough to
acquire Beauty of Nature. Jack tried to assuage Genevieve by claiming he only
said those things for Nikki’s benefit and was truly happy to marry her.
Overjoyed, Genevieve agreed to marry Jack in Las Vegas. Nikki and Victor worked overtime
to prevent Jack and Genevieve from marrying.
Kevin tried successfully to convince Chloe and Delia to move into his house.
Esther sadly did not want her family to move out of Mrs. C’s house. Still
lurking around Genoa
City, Carmine made it
clear to Kevin and Chloe that he was not leaving. In the meantime, he got to
know Abby and managed to insult her.
Sofia was unnerved by Neil’s
closeness with Harmony. Harmony prayed for Devon’s
hearing to be restored. Devon cried tears of
Joy as he realized his hearing has been restored. Lily and Neil were thrilled
and Tucker and Harmony shared in the tearful happiness.
Victoria sought Victor’s help in finding a
missing Chelsea
as Billy was out searching. Chelsea
was in a dire situation until Adam found her and pulled her out from the frozen
lake. He brought her to a nearby cabin and delivered her very healthy baby boy.
Adam left to call for an ambulance as Chelsea
slipped in and out of consciousness. Victoria
and Abby raced to find Chelsea
and discovered her at the cabin. Once safely at the hospital, Chelsea agreed to let Victoria and Billy
raise the baby as planned. Victoria
chose to name the baby John after Billy’s deceased father, making him extremely
happy. Adam asked Chelsea
to keep quiet about his involvement that night.
