A native of Canada, Josh began his professional career when he won a role in K-19:The Widowmaker, directed by Kathryn Bigelow. Josh played the role of Viktor Bokov, the assistant to Harrison Ford’s character, the Captain of the Russian submarine in this dramatic thriller.
After attending Circle in the Square Theater School in New York, Josh went on to additional roles in such films as Twist, a Canadian independent film that’s a modern-day retelling of Oliver Twist; The Exorcism of Emily Rose with Laura Linney; the comedy Full of It; George Romero’s Diary of the Dead, which won praise at The Toronto International Film Festival; The Third Eye; At Home at the End of the World; and The Man Who Lost Himself.
Josh also had recurring roles on the ABC series Life As We Know It as well as the HBO war drama mini-series The Pacific, produced by Steven Spielberg.
Josh splits his time between Los Angeles and New York.
