'Prom-A-saurus' Recap: The Best Dressed Gleeks at Prom

May 09 2012, 12:36 PM by Christine Montgomery

The night every McKinley High student has been dreaming of all year finally arrived last night on Glee. Senior prom! Everyone knows prom night is all about what you're wearing (like duh!), so we're counting down our picks for the most fabulous outfits from last night's episode of Glee. Who will win best dressed? Read on!

#3 - Mercedes
Mercedes looked absolutely stunning in her fushia prom gown. We knew we could count on Meredes to look fabulous, and we're giving her props for following all the ground rules to achieving an unforgettable prom look: a gorgeous up-do, a classic ball gown with a fun twist, and LOTS of sparkles.

#2 - Tina and Brittany
O.k., o.k., we know a two-way tie is sorta a cop out, but these outfits are both so fab we couldn't decide! Tina's look is oh-so-français and choosing a black prom dress really makes a statement. Even if Sue hated Tina's dress we LOVE it. And trend alert! Brittany is exhibiting one of this spring's hottest looks - colour blocking. We love Brittany's playful twist on the classic prom tux. These ladies went in two totally different directions for prom style, but both outfits are fabulously daring, and totally worthy of second place.

Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz, L), and Brittany (Heather Morris, R) in 'Prom-A-saurus'

#1 - Rachel
We had to give it to the prom queen for looking absolutely picture perfect last night. Rachel's peach gown is whimsical and enchanting. With prince charming by her side, this look is straight from prom-heaven. But a fair warning, if you plan on copying this look for your own prom make sure you're more into looking the part than moving it - mermaid cut's are extremely hard to dance in!

Rachel (Lea Michele, L) and Finn (Cory Monteith, R) in 'Prom-A-saurus'

Next week is a two hour special on Glee with New Directions performing at Nationals for celebrity judge Lindsay Lohan. As the countdown to graduation continues, the kids of New Directions prepare a high-concept routine for Nationals. When Tina bumps her head, the world of New Directions is turned upside down in her eyes.

Do you think New Directions will win nationals this year? What do you think of Lindsay Lohan as a guest star? Until next time, Gleeks!
