Wow - what a night. I've been fortunate enough to attend finale night at the CBS studios for a few years now, and in my opinion BB14's finale episode was the best one, with so many 'Ooooh' and 'YIKES' moments. It was a pleasure talking to all the houseguests, especially Ian who was as humble, shy and as nice as all his houseguests proclaimed he would be.
Watch a clip of Ian giving tips for Big Brother Canada hopefuls.
The last hour of the finale episode was intense as Danielle got evicted (and her face betrayed all her emotions) and Dan's lies were exposed one by one.
If you missed it, you can watch the full episode here.
Dan....wow what can I say about Dan. My interview with him should give you an insight as to how he works. He caught me off guard by first remembering my name, calling me by it then asking if I would ever trust him. Don't be fooled by his pleas of 'I'm not a bad guy' as he was telling all the interviewers. In my opinion he is as deceptive and manipulative as he wants to be. I'm sure he tones it down in his everyday life, but he has the natural ability to fool you and make you like him.
Danielle was...very Danielle like. I was surprised that she admitted to being fooled by Dan and admitted regret for trusting him at all. She said the only reason she gave him her vote was purely out of loyalty. But then again, Dan would have never been loyal to her. He even admitted if he had won HoH he would have cut her faster than she could say 'BAMA!
And right before, I had spoken to JoJo who was VERY heated about all the negative things Danielle had said about JoJo in the house. In fact the first few minutes of my interview with her were spent talking about her dislike of Danielle, and calling Dani out for all her weird lies and stories while in the house. Later, I heard executive producer Allison Grodner calming JoJo down and telling her that Danielle will watch the footage and come around soon enough, but that she can't keep talking like this to the reporters. Lots of drama behind the scenes too it seems!
Shane was a different than what I expected. He was still bitter from his blindside a few days ago, and his distaste for Dan showed through. He was a bit of a bummer. You'll see what I mean in the interview.
Joe was so much fun to talk to! Yes he was very loud, and yes that goat tail beard was very distracting and moved a lot while he talked...but he was not as annoying as he came off in the live feeds. Unfortunately, I had audio issues with his clip and therefore can't post that interview.
Janelle was really beautiful in person, and a ard to talk to. She was short and curt with her answers and blatantly said the houseguests were stupid. She doesn't plan on staying friends with any of them. 'I have enough friends' is what she told me. Needless to say, as much as I wanted to keep talking to her, it was very clear she felt these HGs were beneath her and she just wanted to leave.
Mike Boogie: I was so excited to talk to him last night as I had a lot of questions for him...and before I knew it he was swept up by all the reporters and then, boom, gone. So unfortunately I did not have a chance to speak with him, but I am going to his Hollywood restaurant (that he went on and on and on about) Geisha House tonight.
Then there was Jenn city! She confirmed that she was picked to be on the show TWO WEEKS before the show aired! So crazy. She was going through a bad breakup and had started a new chapter in her life, so it all seemed to come together that she would leave it all behind and try something different.

I LOVED Ashley. i can definitely understand why she was well liked in the house and therefore a social threat like Britney said she was. Yes, she's ditzy but it makes her loveable and I think she really hopes something will happen with Frank.
It was a GREAT night and I always enjoy chatting with the HGs and seeing how different - or similar - they are to what we've seen on TV.
